Terms
Kept short on purpose. Where this disagrees with anything onwhy it's free, this page and that page are meant to say the same thing — tell us if they ever don't.
What you're agreeing to
By using deckle.page you can build a wedding website and collect RSVPs from your guests. You are responsible for what you put on your page and for who you invite to see it. We are responsible for keeping it running, keeping it free, and keeping our promises below.
It's free, and stays free
Your website, your RSVP, your guest list and an SVG file for every piece of stationery are free, permanently. We only charge for something physical — seewhy it's free for the prices, marked as not yet final. Nothing here converts to a paid plan, and nothing is held back until you pay.
What you own
You own your names, your photos, your words and your guest list. You can export all of it at any time from your editing link — no account, no request to us. Deleting your page deletes it, including the guest list; that action cannot be undone by us, so we ask for confirmation before it happens.
Your page stays up
Your page stays live through your wedding day and for a year after it, whatever happens to deckle.page as a business. If we ever have to shut the service down, we commit to telling every couple with a live page at least six months before it happens, and to giving them their data before it does.
Guests
A guest's RSVP reply belongs to the couple who invited them. We do not read guest lists, we do not contact guests on a couple's behalf, and dietary notes and messages are erased automatically thirty days after the wedding — see privacy for the detail.
What we ask in return
Don't use this to impersonate someone else's wedding, to collect information from guests for a purpose other than the wedding itself, or to send anything unlawful, abusive or harassing. We can remove a page that breaks this, and we will tell you why if we do.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on this page with the date, and it will never mean a promise above — free, staying up, six months' notice — gets quietly withdrawn.
